A Message to the BCSO Community—January 2021

Jan 12, 2021 | Announcements

As we enter 2021, we remain confident that our community and nation are moving forward with renewed strength and resolve toward brighter days ahead.

The BCSO’s 68th season has certainly not progressed as we had hoped—with an October Fall Concert and a December Family Concert—but we continue to be engaged in several projects for the benefit of our musicians and community members.

We are currently reaching out to local schools with a special program called Ask the Conductor, in which Maestro Gary Fagin and Mr. Sebastian Grand interact via Zoom with music students to answer their questions about any and all musical topics.

Although it appears increasingly unlikely that our Symphony will perform publicly during the current “season,” we hold out hope for a festive concert this summer and a return to normal operations in the fall.

In the meantime, we invite you to continue visiting our website regularly to enjoy the special features that are updated frequently: Conductor’s Webinars, The BCSO Story, and Meet the BCSO.
