José Luis Domínguez
The BCSO congratulates Maestro Domínguez on his recent appointment as Associate Professor of Orchestral Studies and Director of Orchestras at Temple University. He serves as Music Director of the Temple University Symphony Orchestra and Professor of Conducting.
Maestro Domínguez is currently an advisor to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Youth Orchestras, of which he was Artistic Director from 2017-2023. He has served as a frequent guest conductor of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
Sebastian Grand
The BCSO congratulates Mr. Grand on his recent appointment as Music Director of The McLean Symphony in Virginia. Since its founding in 1971 as the McLean Chamber Orchestra, The McLean Symphony has grown from the original 18–25 musicians to nearly 60, and has performed on the stages of Wolf Trap Farm Park for the Performing Arts and The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington.
Mr. Grand is Music Director of the Delaware County Symphony and Assistant Conductor of the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey, and conducts the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia in an annual concert series. He is conductor of the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County’s Philharmonia.
