The Bucks County Symphony Orchestra expresses its profound sorrow on the passing of Robert L. Byers Sr. on December 21, 2020.

Bob, along with his wife Joyce, was a major supporter of the BCSO for many years. His generous philanthropy throughout the Bucks County area and across the country is a model for selfless giving of time, talent and treasure. Whether through the Byers Foundation, Byers Choice Ltd., or personal contributions, Bob sponsored and supported the Symphony’s programming and community outreach for over thirty years.

BCSO Music Director Gary S. Fagin adds: “Bob’s presence at BCSO concerts, and his deep appreciation of classical music, were an inspiration; he will be greatly missed.”
