A Message to the BCSO Community—July 2020

We sincerely hope that the Orchestra will be able to resume normal operations in the spring of 2021, including one or more public performances for our friends in the community. We continue to be guided by restrictions and recommendations established by government health agencies, the availability of rehearsal and performance venues, and the welfare of our musicians and patrons.

One of the BCSO’s guiding principles has always been to provide musicians in our community the opportunity to perform in a symphony orchestra. With the expectation that performances will not be scheduled for several months, Music Director Gary Fagin is developing a program of webinar presentations for the fall to assure that our Orchestra members continue to stay connected with each other and be engaged musically during these unique times. Maestro Fagin and Assistant Conductor Sebastian Grand look forward to arranging ensemble gatherings as soon as feasible.
